i see so many "hey this will help you write if you have adhd" things that are like. they are "more stimulating" by gamifying it somehow. like. making things on your screen move. and i regret to inform y'all that when things on my screen move without my permission it doesn't help me write it doesn't help me focus it actually just makes me murderously violent

#stfu blue #adhd #personally my adhd writing strategy is just caffeine and tunes #the hardest part is finding the Correct Tunes #one time i write an entire 30k fic while listening to bambous by caravan palace #if you've read and enjoyed a shanix for your thoughts i want you to go back and re-read it with bambous on loop the whole time #then you will be one step closer to understanding my brain (at least at that time of my life)#there are a great many more steps of course. it's an infinite staircase and you cannot backwards long-jump your way up. sorry
